I am writing to offer an enthusiastic endorsement of Shannon Lindstrom for state representative serving District 124 in Scarborough.
Shannon has been a member of the Scarborough School Board for six years and has been the chair for the past five years. I met Shannon as a member of the school building advisory committee, developing a comprehensive renovation plan for the aging Scarborough schools. This was an effort that culminated in a successful referendum in November 2025.
Throughout that process, I watched Shannon effectively bring together a large group of
stakeholders with a variety of goals and objectives. Shannon’ s steady leadership was essential throughout.
This year, Shannon and I worked together to review and pass a school budget in an environment of restrained spending.
Her basic empathy and concern for our community’s residents is evident in every interaction. I encourage everyone to vote for Mary Shannon Lindstrom in November.
