Buffalo, NY – Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue is excited to announce its first Halloween Dog Walk, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 11am to 2 p.m. at Delaware Park.
About the event
Grab your pup, throw on your favorite costume, and join us for Buddy’s Howl-O-Ween Dog Walk! This family-friendly fundraiser celebrates Halloween while raising money to give local rescue dogs the second chance they deserve.
Enjoy a scenic 1.8 mile walk through Delaware Park, all while supporting Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue! ● a dog costume contest,
- vendors, food, and music
- Raffles and prizes,
- Photo opportunities,
- After walk party
- And plenty of tail-wagging fun!
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs and giving them a second chance at life. Buddy’s uses its proceeds for foster supplies, such as beds and meals, medical care and transportation for dogs from out-of-state kill shelters to western New York. Proceeds from events like this help Buddy’s goal of owning its transportation vehicle and reach 1,000 total adoptions.

Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization committed to rescuing dogs, providing necessary care, and finding them permanent, loving homes. Since its founding, the organization has saved countless dogs from high-risk situations and continues to be a vital part of the Western New York animal rescue community.
Established in 2013, our non-profit dog rescue is nestled in the heart of Western New York, with a mission to save as many innocent dogs as possible from shelters in Buffalo, the south and even other countries. All dogs no matter location deserve a second chance.
