Both of the men injured in the shooting suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive, according to police.
Boston police are investigating a late-night shooting that left two men with injuries Friday.
At about 10:40 p.m., officers responded to the area of 31 Hancock St. in Dorchester for a report of a person shot. They found that two adult males were injured in the shooting, a police spokesperson told Boston.com.
One of the men was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other man took himself to a hospital, also with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
As of Sunday morning, neither man has been publicly identified. Though no suspect has been sought and no charges have been filed, an investigation is ongoing, police said.
