They roll downstairs for drinks, craps and dancing before ending up on the roof, à la “The Hangover,” for a Champagne toast.
The opening of “Lucky,” the Apple TV limited series debuting with two episodes Wednesday, plays out like a “What Happens Here, Stays Here”-era commercial for Las Vegas.
Then Lucky (Anya Taylor-Joy) wakes up alone. The money’s gone. And she’s pursued throughout the resort – from the gaming floor through Vanderpump Cocktail Garden and into the bowels of Caesars Palace – by a mix of Metro officers and FBI agents.
About 28 minutes into the first episode, she escapes the valley with little more than a simply fabulous old-school Caesars jacket and never looks back.
New episodes of “Lucky” will debut each Wednesday through Aug. 19.
