Legendary boy band to make history at Sphere-F1 show

The Las Vegas Grand Prix returns Nov. 19-21 after selling out last November. The race has been extended to run on in Las Vegas, the front straightaway taking over a healthy segment of the Strip, through 2037.

Backstreet Boys’ wildly popular “Into The Millennium” Sphere production returns for 21 shows July 16-29.

Las Vegas Grand Prix President and CEO Emily Frazer emphasized the rarity of the spectacle.

“Las Vegas is the only place in the world where Formula 1, the Backstreet Boys and Sphere can come together for one unforgettable night,” Frazer said in a statement. “F1 Afterparty reflects what makes the Las Vegas Grand Prix so distinctive, giving fans the opportunity to see an iconic group like the Backstreet Boys perform at Sphere as part of a race weekend experience you can’t find anywhere else.”

Sphere President and COO Jen Koester says the event bolsters the Bulbous Wonder’s unique image worldwide.

“As Las Vegas welcomes visitors from around the world for Formula 1 weekend, Sphere will once again deliver entertainment at a scale unmatched by any other venue,” Koester said, adding that the Afterparty and Backstreet Boys partnership “exemplify our commitment to bringing iconic artists together with groundbreaking technology to create experiences only Sphere can deliver.”
