South Point transforms its Silverado bar into PBR Lounge

It’s literally Cowboy Central.

On Thursday, South Point announced a new multiyear partnership with Professional Bull Riders (PBR), continuing a relationship that has spanned more than two decades.

As part of the partnership, the property’s Silverado Lounge is being transformed into the new PBR Lounge, a Western-themed cocktail bar with Western décor, PBR-inspired cocktails, music and more televisions, including at least one dedicated to 24/7 PBR event coverage. The lounge will introduce extended hours and host events such as autograph signings and appearances by riders.

Beyond the lounge, the partnership extends across South Point’s arena, hotel and casino with expanded PBR branding, experiences and entertainment. South Point serves as a key sponsor and one of the host hotels for the PBR Teams Championship each fall. The property also has hosted the PBR Challenger Series Championship and the American Bucking Bull Inc. World Finals for more than 20 consecutive years.

“This partnership is a natural evolution of a relationship that has meant so much to our property and our guests for more than 20 years,” Ryan Growney, general manager of South Point, said in the announcement. “The new PBR Lounge and expanded presence throughout the property will give our guests even more ways to engage with the excitement of professional bull riding year-round.”
