— Lake Las Vegas kicks off its Summer Concert Series on May 2 with a U2 tribute, followed by Outlaw Electric on May 9; In-A-Fect on May 16; Zowie Bowie making his lakeside debut on May 23; and Down South Junkers on May 30. All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
— The Summerlin Sounds Summer Concert Series returns on June 3 with Empire Records and Noelle Harlow, with additional performances on June 10 (’80s Night, Tossing Steel), June 17 (Million Dollar Band, Sidney Patrick), June 24 (The Moonshiners, 241Z), July 1 (Lyte Bryte, Rustyn Vaughn), July 8 (Envy, Andrew Diessner), July 15 (Louder Than Luck, Justin Centeno) and July 22 (Jeremy Cornwell, Ilan Dvir-Djerassi). Shows begin at 6 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
— After a hit opening, Mary J. Blige adds additional dates to her “My Life, My Story: The Las Vegas Residency” at Park MGM on Aug. 28 and 29, Sept. 2, 5 and 6 and Oct. 23, 24, 28, 30 and 31. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 11 on ticketmaster.com.
— Folks keep buying tickets, so The Eagles keep on playing. The classic rock band has added several new dates to their Sphere residency: Sept. 18 and 19, Nov. 13 and 14 and Nov. 27 and 28. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 15 on ticketmaster.com.
