Here’s what was announced this week:
through the year
The Venetian Theatre once staged a Broadway classic in residency. Now, 14 years after “Phantom — The Las Vegas Spectacular” floated out, two hit shows are coming in for limited engagements: “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “The Book of Mormon.” “Doubtfire” is booked for 11 shows, July 22 to 26 and July 30 to Aug. 2. “Book of Mormon” will run 15 dates from Nov. 4 to 15 (tickets for both productions are on sale at venetianvegas.com).

— Naughty variety act “Miss Behave Game Show” is back for one night only at Majestic Repertory Theatre at 7 p.m. Monday, May 11. Tickets are $49.97 at majesticrepertory.com and help support the theater.
— The Sunset Jazz Series is bringing a swingin’ lineup of jazz artists to the Side Lawn at Sunset Station, starting on Saturday, May 16, and continuing once a month through October with artists Jarez, Adrian Crutchfield, Patrick Lamb, Nicholas Cole and Blake Aaron. — Mexican comedians Teo González and Jorge Falcón are teaming up for a special Mexican Independence Day weekend show at the Palazzo Theatre inside The Venetian at 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. Pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24.
