A longtime member of No Doubt is appearing at the two tent posts of Vegas entertainment venues.
Adrian Young will be at The Punk Rock Museum for a live podcast and Q&A on the Fully Vented Podcast at 12:30 p.m. May 9. The series is focused on the history of drummers at Orange County Drum & Percussion, which helped define the look and sound of 2000s punk.
Young, the drummer with the ever-changing, day-glow Mohawk, is a recurring guest and most recently appeared on April 11. Chad Sexton of 311 and John Otto of Limp Bizkit are among previous guests.
Young joined No Doubt in 1989 as a replacement for Chris Webb, before the band reached mainstream success. Young has also played in the new-wave supergroup Dreamcar with fellow No Doubt members Tony Kanal and Tom Dumont, and is said to be a scratch golfer.
The event is free on a first-come, first-served basis, as part of a general-admission tour of the venue (go to thepunkrockmuseum.com for intel). No Doubt opens at Sphere on May 6. Those tickets are not free.
