A 47-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after a stabbing in Wahiawa this morning, and police arrested a 53-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder.
Honolulu police said officers responded about 10:09 a.m. to a residence on Koa Street, where an argument between the two women escalated into violence. Investigators said the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services treated the victim for apparent stab wounds with advanced life support and took her to a trauma center in serious condition.
Police arrested the suspect at the scene for second-degree attempted murder. Authorities said they will seek charges with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
The investigation remains ongoing.
