Ohio experimental act Band (we dare you to Google it) are coming to Orlando’s Dining Room

As the unique and adventurous Winter Park DIY/home venue the Dining Room inevitably winds down a yearslong run that hosted the likes of Tatsuya Nakatani, Bonnie Kane and Sean Hamilton, you have one or two last chances to catch a show there.

Midwest experimental act Band comes through on tour in a few days, only a few months after traversing parts of the state with sax maniac Bobb Hatt. We’re happy this quick return includes an Orlando show. The absolutely un-Googleable project of Columbus origin promises Residents-meets-musique concrete soundworlds, perhaps with a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos incorporated into the sound-sources.

Swords of Saturn, Many Possible Perches and Zachary Hickerson all open. Essential on all fronts.

7 p.m. Monday, April 20, The Dining Room, 2902 Ambergate Road, Winter Park, instagram.com/atthediningroom, donations mandatory.
