A popular free seasonal activation in the Grand Canal Shoppes is returning this summer. “La Dolce Summer,” according to property representatives, transforms the center into a “lively summer escape” from the summer heat.
Starting May 22, the “Amore in Fiore” art installation will return. The floral arches provide a backdrop for visitors near Flight Club and Grimaldi’s Pizza. The display, meaning “love in bloom,” will be up through Aug. 2.
On certain Saturdays through the summer from noon to 3 p.m., the property will host live music and interactive art activations in the luxury wing. Experiences include fashion illustration by Hauvonna Godoy and Jorge Salcedo (May 23), doodles on luggage tags by Pretty Done (June 6), calligraphy on key holders by Grace Chen (July 4), and doodles on custom photos by Pretty Done (Aug. 1).
