The palms are already crossed on the Las Vegas Strip.
At most locations of In-N-Out Burger, palms are planted to form an X, a nod to the 1962 movie “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” in which the loot is buried beneath crossed palms. The movie was a favorite of In-N-Out founder Harry Snyder.
At the In-N-Out taking shape on the third floor of the BLVD development on the Strip, two natural palms (their fronds still bundled up) and a pair of painted palms on a construction wall enact a double X. The building in signature white with red trim, seemingly near completion, rises behind the wall (and is visible from across the Strip).
The classic red-and-white In-N-Out Burger sign with a golden arrow streaking at a downward angle is in place in front of the restaurant. A sign on the construction wall announces that the restaurant is accepting applications. The In-N-Out website says the location is opening soon.
Neon reached out to the company and is awaiting a statement on the launch timeline and other details.
Word of the arrival of the In-N-Out, encompassing about 8,000 interior square feet and a 2,500-square-foot terrace, emerged in October 2024. The restaurant is reportedly the second largest in the In-N-Out family after the location in Barstow, California. The Linq also houses an In-N-Out store on the Strip. BLVD is at 3747 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
