The last time Usher played Allegiant Stadium, so did the Chiefs and 49ers. The superstar was the halftime show’s headliner at Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024.
The artist born Usher Raymond IV is due back with fellow superstar Chris Brown on Sept. 5-6 for “The R&B Tour,” a co-headlining series across North America. Tickets are on sale to the general public at noon Pacific time on April 27 at Ticketmaster.com.
The tour covers 33 dates, produced by Live Nation.
Usher has headlined residencies at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for 20 dates in 2021, and Dolby Live at Park MGM from July 2022 to December 2023. His “My Way” series covered 100 shows.
Brown has performed in residency at Drai’s at the Cromwell (turning over to Vanderpump Hotel) on the Strip. His run covered June 2022 through New Year’s Eve 2023.
The co-headliners and longtime friends were reportedly involved in a dust-up during the Lovers & Friends festival at Las Vegas Festival Grounds in 2023. The incident occurred at the Floyd Mayweather-owned Skate Rock recreation center on Boulder Highway the night before both performers were set to appear at the festival.
The superstars did perform their sets as scheduled, no mention of the altercation, and showing no signs of discord.
