Las Vegas’ Ivy League headliner is in a league of her own with an upcoming milestone.
The star of “The Magic of Jen Kramer” celebrates her 1,000th show at Westgate Cabaret on April 24.
Kramer opened at the venue in May 2018, holding down the 5 p.m. daily slot. She is still the only female resident magician to headline in Las Vegas.
Kramer is a Yale University graduate and the founder of the Yale Magic Society. Her many awards include Female Magician of the Year by the International Magicians Society. She has also appeared on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” “Masters of Illusion,” and NBC’s “Today” show.
“To celebrate this milestone at Westgate, a property with such an iconic entertainment history, makes it even more meaningful,” Kramer said in announcing the benchmark. Westgate President and General Manager Cami Christensen said, “Jen Kramer represents the very best of what live entertainment in Las Vegas can be.”
Kramer is such a part of the Westgate family that she and her husband, Dylan Jorgensen, were married at Westgate Cabaret on Feb. 28, and hosted the reception in the Elvis Suite. This, too, was a show, filled with a performance by “Soul of Motown” and an Elvis tribute, “The King Comes Home.”
The spectacle would make a fine model for its own interactive production, and we know who would be the star.
