FKA Twigs
FKA Twigs’ avant-garde electro pop hits like the musical equivalent of the goop inside a lava lamp, constantly taking new shapes. Tickets start at $75; ticketmaster.com.
Samara Joy
“Linger Awhile” with jazz tour de force Samara Joy, who’s already won five Grammys at the age of 26 and will most assuredly add to that collection with her soul-, R&B- and gospel-infused repertoire. She performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. Tickets start at $51.80; thesmithcenter.com.

Ethel Cain
With a dusky, dramatic songbook pulsating with ambient undertones, Ethel Cain has been likened to a Southern Gothic Lana Del Rey, though her gripping, heartfelt narratives herald a voice truly all her own.
