A man has been charged with first-degree murder after he allegedly shot and killed another man at an Adams County house party early Sunday morning, according to prosecutors and court records.
Daniel Ramirez Ayala, 20, was arrested Sunday after witnesses to the shooting near Thornton shared his home address with Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies, the office wrote in a social media post.
The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said in a statement that Ramirez Ayala’s next court appearance is scheduled July 18.
He was being held at the Adams County Detention Facility as of Friday morning.
