No. 13 Paul VI cruises past KIPP Cooper in Camden County Tourney – Boys basketball recap

Isaiah Thatcher scored a game-high 19 points as second-seeded Paul VI cruised to a 96-51 win over 10th-seeded KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy in the quarters of the Camden County Tournament.

Paul VI (23-3), No. 13 in NJ.com’s Top 20, will take on second-seeded Camden Catholic in the semifinals.

Paul VI wasted no time opening up a big lead, taking a 27-7 advantage after the first quarter.

Aidan Camire scored 14 points as the strong offensive showing for Paul VI continued in the second quarter with 32 points.

Clinton Suggs scored 11 points while Ivan Moore and Adiel Fred scored 10 each.

Moyston McIntosh led KIPP Cooper (14-10) with 10 points.
