It is disconcerting that we are not seeing the same concern and compassion for individuals losing their private sector jobs that we are seeing being offered to federal workers by our local elected officials and our federal congressional representatives and senators, (“Trump job cuts upend lives of federal workers in Oregon. Here are some impacts,” March 5). Every job is important and vital to our economy and sustaining vibrant communities for every Oregonian.
