Tracy Harrison, ex-wife of “Pawn Stars” co-founder Rick Harrison, has died in Las Vegas. She was 61.
A family rep confirmed Harrison died Wednesday while in hospice care. She had reportedly been battling brain cancer.
She and Rick Harrison were married from 1986 to 2011. Their marriage covered the development and first two years of “Pawn Stars,” originating from Gold and Silver Pawn in 2009. But Harrison chose not to participate in the show.
Harrison was step-mother to “Pawn Stars” co-star Corey Harrison and the late Adam Harrison. She and Rick have one son, Jake.
“She was a great mom to the boys and I’m doing all I can to support Jake and Corey during this difficult time,” Rick Harrison said in a statement. “Her friends and extended family are in all our thoughts.”
This month, Rick Harrison was hospitalized and released after undergoing emergenct bypass surgery.
“Pawn Stars” has resumed filming for History channel, with Harrison and Austin “Chumlee” Russell back as the primary co-stars. The show is expected to begin airing again in October.
