One of Las Vegas’s most prominent strip clubs has gone dark, and not for aesthetics.
Crazy Horse 3, the club just a few cartwheels southwest of Allegiant Stadium at 3525 West Russell Road, shut down without announcement on Aug. 11, a club rep has confirmed.
There has been scant information of what is planned at the venue.
Tuesday morning, the club’s management issued a statement referring to what is presented as a temporary shutdown: “We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support surrounding Crazy Horse 3 and look forward to sharing additional updates in the coming days.”
Those “updates” are most likely related to extensive renovations around the club. But seems little, if any, formal explanation of these plans to the staff and no timeline or specifics provided. There is word the club is also planning financial restructuring.
Under nightlife vet and co-owner Nando Sostilo’s stewardship, the club opened during the Great Recession of 2009. CH3 is due to celebrate its 17th anniversary in October, should it be reopen by then.
Aside from presenting dozens of contracted dancers nightly, the club has prospered with such promotions as “Big Game” viewing parties, F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix-related events and “March Mania” NCAA Tournament celebrations. They adopted a post-game party following Raiders games last season.
The club was gifted an abundance of social media attention in November 2023, when Travis Kelce wore a black Crazy Horse 3 T-shirt after the Chiefs dropped the Raiders 31-17. It was the rare moment a big-name celeb has promoted (even incidentally) CH3 outside of the club.
But more recently, Sostilo has bemoaned the club’s business challenges in Las Vegas. He said in August 2025, “The whole town is slower,” and that last summer was the slowest he’d seen in a long time.
