Ebisu Life Store, a wildly popular Japanese lifestyle shop filled with snacks, blind boxes and obscure collectibles, will debut its largest ever location in Tampa Bay this week.
According to a social media post from the company, the new Ebisu will open this Friday, Aug. 14, at 6234 Commerce Palms Drive, in Tampa Palms.
To celebrate, Ebisu is offering exclusive deals and giveaways on a variety of snack bags, blind boxes, cosmetics and more with qualifying purchases.
Founded in Osaka, Japan in 2013, Ebisu specializes in aisles and aisles of imported Japanese snacks, cult-favorite candies and drinks, plushies, kawaii collectibles, arcade style claw machines, rows of gashapon machines and more.
The new 21,597-square-foot outpost is a former Joann Fabrics at the Market Square shopping center, and dwarfs the 14,756-square-foot Orlando store, which opened last February in a former Walgreen’s near the Florida Mall (1835 W. Sand Lake Road) and at the time was the company’s largest footprint to date.
Ebisu Life Store is not affiliated with the popular Seminole Heights restaurant Ebisu Sushi Shack.
