How Oregon’s Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden performed at the NFL combine

INDIANAPOLIS — Oregon’s Tez Johnson showed strong lower body explosiveness and change of direction during the physical tests at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Johnson ran the three-cone drill in 6.65 seconds, best among all players to run at Lucas Oil Stadium this year. He also ran the 20-yard shuttle in 4.15 seconds, fourth among 12 receivers to run on Saturday.

Johnson had a 10-foot-11 broad jump, fourth among 33 receivers to jump, and a 37-inch vertical jump, 16th of 36 receivers to jump.

Surprisingly, Johnson’s 40-yard dash time was just 4.51 seconds, 29h out of 39 receivers to run. That’s a poor time at 5-foot-9 7/8 and 154 pounds.

However, he reached a top speed of 22.17 miles per hour running a go route, fastest by any receiver at this year’s combine, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. He hit a top speed of 22.58 mph during the 40-yard dash, 25th out of 39 receivers.

UO’s Traeshon Holden ran the 40 in 4.57 seconds, tied for 32nd among receivers.

Holden had a 10-foot-3 broad jump (20 of 33) and 32-inch vertical (32nd of 36).

He did not perform the three-cone of 20-yard shuttle.
