Shark warning signs have been posted at Kakaako Waterfront Park and the “flies” surf zone, according to Honolulu Ocean Safety.
An HNL Alert was sent at about 12:30 p.m. after lifeguards spotted one aggressive, 8-foot tiger shark in the area.
“If you see or encounter a shark notify Ocean Safety personnel or call 911 immediately,” said the alert. “Always check with a lifeguard for the latest ocean and beach conditions.”
The latest alert comes just three days after another advisory was issued for a non-aggressive shark at the “Kewalos” surf break spotted about 15 yards from shore.
