Alchemy Run Crew is partnering with Children’s of Alabama for the St. Paddy’s Day 5K in Southside.
The best part? 100% of proceeds from the race (including merchandise sold) will go to local organizations.
Right after the race, you can celebrate at Birmingham’s 41st annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and festivities.
3. St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in Five Points South

Five Points South comes to life every March for one of the most iconic St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Bham.
From a parade, an Irish flag raising, a kid’s zone and more, the annual Five Points celebration of St. Patrick’s Day is one you can’t miss. Wear your green and get ready to celebrate in the heart of Five Points South.
4. 15th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, Beef’s at The Grove
Hoover’s St. Patrick’s celebration is back for its 15th year.
There will be live music, activities for kids and plenty of Irish-inspired food and drinks.
5. St. Patrick’s Party @ The Edge

The Edge is an outdoor entertainment hub with food, drinks, retail and green space on Green Springs Highway in Homewood.
You can support local businesses and listen to live music at the St. Patrick’s Party this March.
6. St. Pat’s Sunday @ Avondale Brewing Company

Great local brews: check. Free live music from Hannaward Pass: check. Red Mountain Crawfish: check.
All ages and all pups are allowed for a fun afternoon at Avondale Brewing Company for their St. Pat’s Sunday.
