Kyle Cunningham opening Almond & Oat shop in downtown Las Vegas

Kyle Cunningham, founder of The Coffee Class and Almond & Oat group of coffee bars, is planning a summer launch in downtown Las Vegas for shop No. 7.

Almond & Oat is scheduled to replace the former Dig It Coffee Co. in the ShareDowntown apartment complex at 1300 S. Casino Center Blvd., Suite 110. Dig It closed in April and just reopened in its new downtown location.

Almond & Oat pours dairy-free drinks that use almond and oat milks instead of traditional cow’s milk.

The new store will encompass about 30 to 40 seats, with a design that calls on warm wood finishes, natural textures, greenery and soft lighting. The menu will feature specialty coffees; signature drinks such as honey sea salt latte, oatmeal cookie latte, horchata latte and banana matcha; and pastries and savory dishes.

Word of the downtown Almond & Oat follows the April opening of a three-story Coffee Class flagship on South Water Street in Henderson. The Water Street store is celebrating its debut beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday with specialty drinks, pastries, savory breakfast items, live music and giveaways.

Tentative operating hours for the new Almond & Oat are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information, follow @almondandoat and @thecoffeeclass on Instagram.
