H&H Bagels, the legendary New York City bagel shop that’s been on a nationwide expansion tear, has opened an outpost at 931 State Road 434 in Altamonte Springs. They’ve been serving their kettle-boiled, oven-baked rounds since 1972 … Look for Florida build-a-bowl chain Fresh Kitchen to move into the old Chicken Guy! space at 818 S. Orlando Ave. in Winter Park … South Florida Peruvian chicken chain La Brasa Grill will open a location next week at 9430 S. Orange Blossom Trail … Bad As’s Burgers has closed its Curry Ford operation — however, owner John Collazo has merged its menu into the Bad As’s Sandwiches menu.

Kaya chef Lordfer Lalicon will host a special brunch collab Sunday, May 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. featuring Kapé Kaya’s Clarice Lam and Top Chef alum and James Beard nominee Monique Feybesse of Tarts de Feybesse in Oakland, California.
