“This hateful act was dealt with immediately and none of these images or language are visible by the public,” officials said.

Antisemitic and racist messages were found written on the walls of a Natick elementary school, local officials said.

“Natick is committed to work in parallel to both investigate the matter and determine long-term, proactive efforts that protect against similar hate incidents,” the Town of Natick, Natick Police Department, and Natick Public Schools wrote in an open letter on Monday.

“Hateful language and symbols” including a swastika and an anti-Black slur were graffitied onto the exterior walls of Lilja Elementary School, the officials wrote.

“This hateful act was dealt with immediately and none of these images or language are visible by the public,” officials said.

Natick officials condemned the graffiti and said police are investigating the incident.

“Antisemitism, racism and hate have no place in Natick,” the open letter said.
