Art Festival of Henderson

More than 100 artisans will take part in the annual Art Festival of Henderson. The two-day event will include a chalk art gallery as well as glass blowing and wheel-thrown pottery demonstrations. La Pasticceria tiramisù

Through May 22, La Pasticceria at Eataly in Park MGM is serving eight ways to try tiramisù: a classic version, strawberry gelée and fresh strawberry, Speculoos spiced cookie cream and crumble, pistachio mascarpone and toasted pistachio, Nutella nonna cream and chopped hazelnuts, Nutella mascarpone and chopped hazelnuts, peanut butter and jelly (peanut butter cream, strawberry gelée, fresh strawberries), and a cornetto croissant filled with tiramisù cream and coffee extract. It’s $6.90 for the cornetto, $10.90 for all tiramisùs except for the Nutella nonna cream version, which is $22.90.

World Migratory Bird Day

The College of Southern Nevada’s acclaimed Mariachi Plata, under the direction of vocalist and guitarron artist Perry Chacon Jr., will take the stage when the Department of Fine Arts Music Program presents an evening of mariachi music. At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Komodo in the Fontainebleau will present The Art of Sushi, a hands-on class led by the restaurant’s sushi chefs.
