Baltimore Police are investigating a fatal shooting early Saturday near Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Officers responded around 12:48 a.m. to the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive adult man with an apparent gunshot wound, police said.
Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the report.
Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department are investigating.
