An Oahu grand jury indicted a 19-year-old man for the Feb. 15 shooting of two government contractors in front of a Kapolei fast-food restaurant.
Keanu Wallace was indicted for one count of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree attempted murder, one count of place to keep pistol, two counts of carrying or use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and one count of possession of a prohibited firearm.
The men who were shot at were in Hawaii for work, the Honolulu Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.
If convicted of first-degree attempted murder, the 19-year-old could be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Second-degree attempted murder carries maximum penalty of life with the possibility of parole
Carrying or use of a firearm in the commission of a felony is a Class A felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Place to keep pistol is a Class B felony, with a maximum 10-year prison term, and possession of a prohibited firearm is a Class C felony, which carries a five-year term.
Wallace may also face extended sentencing as a repeat offender, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
He is being held without bail at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.
