We listed the best Anytime TD Scorer props in order of preference to hit. The running back props are chalkier, and you won’t get plus-odds on them. So, a few of the other positional Anytime TD Scorer candidates are featured more in-depth below.
The injury-riddled 49ers defense is a good unit to target for TD player props in this matchup. This is especially true in the passing game, as San Francisco’s 29 TD passes allowed tied for 21st in the NFL. Even if the 49ers’ defense were healthier, the secondary would be the weakest link of the unit.
You will have to be more selective about what San Francisco players you target for Anytime TD props. The Eagles ranked first in the NFL in TD passes allowed (14).
You can put more than one unit on McCaffrey, since Philadelphia’s defense tied for 25th in rushing TDs allowed (20). A total of 13, however, were allowed to running backs, pointing to another possible position to target for a Niners rushing TD.
Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown
Odds: (+105 at DraftKings)
The “Tush Push” is so predictable, yet you can cash out at plus-money on this wager. It was widely reported that the success of the play fell below 70 percent this season, but there could be a few chances for Hurts to punch the ball in from short range.
Philadelphia’s star QB rushed for eight TDs from 10 yards or less this season. In addition to converting from one yard out, it is always very possible that Hurts could rush for a TD from outside the two-yard line.
The Eagles should score more than two TDs, and if you feel gutsy enough to bet more than one rushing TD from Hurts, the odds are at +650 on DraftKings.
Dallas Goedert Anytime Touchdown
Odds: (+195 at FanDuel)
Goedert suddenly emerged as a major TD weapon for Hurts this season. In the previous five campaigns, the Philly tight end had not caught more than four TD passes. During the recently completed regular season, Goedert finished with 11 TD receptions.
Watch for Goedert to get the end zone on his radar whenever the Eagles move the ball inside the 20-yard line. He caught 10 of his 11 TD passes from 19 yards or less during the regular season.
If Goedert catches a TD pass, Philadelphia will have a good shot to win. He caught nine TD passes in the Eagles’ wins this season.
The 49ers have been dealing with significant injury issues at linebacker, another factor that makes this prop play very tempting. San Francisco allowed 10 TD passes to TEs during the regular season, which tied for third-most in the NFC.
Brock Purdy Anytime Touchdown
Odds: (+480 at Fanatics)
This Anytime TD prop has the most inviting odds and has a realistic shot at hitting the mark. Purdy is no Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson as a runner, but he is certainly an athletic and mobile quarterback. The Niners look to use his running skills when it makes sense, adding an extra dimension to the offense.
The Eagles allowed seven rushing TDs to QBs this season, which was the second-most in the NFL. Their 400 rushing yards allowed to opposing passers was also the second-most in the league. If Purdy cannot find an open target in a scoring situation inside the 10-yard line, he might aim for the end zone himself.
This season, Purdy rushed for three TDs in nine games played. Last year, he rushed for five TDs in 15 games. Purdy recently rushed for two scores in one game, in Week 17 against the Bears.
