I wish to commend and thank the mayor and the city Parks and Recreation staff at Ala Moana Beach Park for the speedy action in cleaning one of the showers at the Diamond Head end of the park. That took place on the same day my letter was published (“Shower at popular beach is anything but clean,” Letters, Star-Advertiser, Dec. 4). Mahalo!
The public can now look forward to having both showers fully repaired and ready to be used.
