The next semester at Hillman College is coming.
Netflix announced last week that it will introduce a new generation to the 1990’s sitcom “A Different World.”
Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Darryl M. Bell and Cree Summer will return to the show, which will feature Maleah Joi Moon as Whitley and Dwayne’s daughter.
“I realized I’ve missed Whitley, and I can’t wait to see what she’s like now,” Guy said in a release. “The minute the cast got together, we picked up right where we left off. It was like we had never left.”
The show made casting calls at Alabama HBCU campuses and will film in Atlanta. A release date has not been published.
Felicia Pride is the showrunner, writer, and executive producer, and Debbie Allen returns as director and executive producer, according to Netflix.
