The Buffalo Heritage Carousel is thrilled to welcome the community back for a sparkling 2025 holiday season on Buffalo’s waterfront beginning this weekend,  November 21st and 22nd, featuring festive décor and holiday shopping specials. Rides with Santa — A Buffalo Favorite Returns beginning Friday, November 28th

Back by popular demand, Santa Claus returns to the Carousel for the 2025 holiday season. Take a spin and get a photo op with Santa himself. Tickets for rides with Santa are limited, and reservations are encouraged. For more information on Santa’s schedule, special pricing, and reservations, visit www.buffaloheritagecarousel.org.

Spread the Peanut Butter & the Joy — Supporting FeedMore WNY

Throughout the holiday season, the Carousel is proud to partner with FeedMore WNY for the Great Peanut Butter Challenge. Guests who bring a 16-oz jar (or larger) of peanut butter will receive one additional ride free (same rider, same ticket). Peanut butter is one of the most requested, high-need food items at food banks, and each donation helps FeedMore WNY support families across our region. A simple contribution spreads meaningful joy while creating lasting memories at the Carousel.

About the Buffalo Heritage Carousel

The Buffalo Heritage Carousel is a fully restored, 100-year-old menagerie carousel handcrafted in Western New York and powered by the sun — one of only five solar-powered carousels in the world. Located at Canalside on Buffalo’s revitalized waterfront, the carousel celebrates the region’s rich manufacturing history, leadership in renewable energy, and dedication to historic preservation. Each year, the carousel provides affordable and accessible rides to visitors from Western New York and beyond, and it hosts programming, group tours, and private events.
