The Department of Justice said in filings on Monday that a new law allows them to disclose grand jury documents from the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases. Judge Richard Berman, who is overseeing Epstein’s case, and Judge Paul Engelmayer, supervising Maxwell’s, should release the materials that led to the indictments because the Epstein Files Transparency Act requires it, the DOJ says.
