Thursday’s Island Voices by Cristina Johnson, “Veterans exposed to toxins at isle facilities deserve benefits,” represents kind of a canary-in-the-coal-mine situation: We are all subject to lesser levels of these contaminants. Not only do we owe these veterans appropriate care and compensation, we owe the entire planet a detoxification.
