Portland yarn crafts festival brings ‘shear’ joy to hundreds

Hundreds of yarn enthusiasts descended on the Redd event space in Southeast Portland on Saturday for the third annual Sacred Sheep festival.

And there were many more enthusiasts to come. More than 2,000 people are expected to show up over the course of the weekend-long event and peruse the crafts for sale, take a knitting class or watch a sheep get sheared.
