No. 4 Clearview beats Shawnee in SJ, Group 3 to reach semis yet again – Field hockey

Blair Eber scored her team-high 37th and 38th goals as top-seeded Clearview, No. 4 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated ninth-seeded Shawnee 5-0 in the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 3 quarterfinals in Mullica Hill.

The Pioneers (19-3) have made at least the sectional semifinals every year since 2015. The two-time defending Group 2 champs will attempt to reach the sectional final for the fourth consecutive season when they host fifth-seeded Northern Burlington.

Maddie Reeves and Addison McConnell each added a goal and an assist and Marissa Buck made eight saves for the shutout.

Benna Clark stopped 20 shots for the Renegades (9-10-1), who were eliminated from the playoffs by Clearview for the fourth year in a row, including sectional final losses in 2023 and 2024.
