Nick Lutsky scored two goals, including what proved to be the game winning goal in the 59th minute for fifth-seeded St. Peter’s Prep, No. 4 in the NJ.com Top 20, in a 3-1 victory over 12th-seeded Oratory in the first round of the North Jersey, Non-Public A tournament at the Caven Point Athletic Complex in Jersey City.

Lutsky gave St. Peter’s Prep (19-2-1) a 1-0 lead with his goal in the 25th minute. Anthony Bautista added an insurance goal in the 66th minute and Anthony Novello made four saves.

St. Peter’s Prep will play fourth-seeded and No. 13 Seton Hall Prep in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Oratory (6-14), even the score at 1-1 on Henry Griffiths’ goal in the 26th minute. Caylor Mendez made 11 saves in defeat.
