Laura Lynn (Hayden) Rose, born December 29, 1957, in Burlington, Vt., died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 19, 2025.
Raised in Essex Junction, she spent her life in Colchester as a devoted paraeducator, deeply respected by students and staff.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald Rose; sons Aaron and his partner, Erin Hoefel, and Kyle and wife Amanda; granddaughter Kay; brothers Dennis and partner Diana Davis, Chris, Steve and wife Cyndi, Tom and wife Joyce, and Gary and wife Sue; sisters Cindy Hayden and partner Michael Reilly, Lindy Bushey, Nancy Saulniers and husband Bob; and brother-in-law Jay Friend; she was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Alice Hayden, and sister Brenda Friend.
Laura cherished her family, including many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family, sharing a close bond filled with love. Her gift was family: holidays, cookouts, game nights, four-leaf clover hunts and time at the beach.
