Rumson-Fair Haven takes care of Manalapan behind late insurance – Field hockey recap

Rumson-Fair Haven defeated Manalapan 4-0 in Rumson behind a balanced scoring attack.

Rumson-Fair Haven led 2-0 after three quarters before adding two more goals in the fourth.

Hannah Delaney, Lindsay Notine, Cate Sullivan and Ava Capra each scored for Rumson-Fair Haven. Zoe LeRoy earned the shutout.

Jordan Horowitz made 18 saves for Manalapan.

Rumson-Fair Haven (4-1) extended its winning streak to four games and will travel to Chatham, No. 11 in the NJ.com Top 20, on Friday. Manalapan (2-3) will visit Toms River North on Saturday.
