From the team behind Lost Forty, small-batch brewery and taco joint Camp Taco is turning up the nostalgia with its first-ever Spirit Week, a seven-day celebration packed with fall vibes, retro flair and good times.
Set for Sept. 19-26, Camp Taco Spirit Week will include themed events, drink specials, live music and a throwback to summer camp classics, all in the heart of East Village.
Here’s what’s on the agenda:
Sept. 19: Band Camp with Townsend
To kick off the week of fun, Townsend will take the Camp Taco stage from 7:30-9:30 p.m. with a rockin’ show and lots of spirit.
Sept. 20: Camp’toberfest
Mini brats in a blanket and $4 steins of Hunter Oktoberfest will be served all day during the second annual Camp’toberfest from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Wear your best lederhosen for a free Camp Taco sticker and win a $100 Camp Taco gift card in the stein holding competition.
Sept. 22: Craft Cabin Happy Hour with Bella Vita
Learn a fun new craft during rec time with the owner of Bella Vita Jewelry & Gifts as you sip on $5 margs and enjoy $2 off draft beer.
Sept. 25: Flight Night at the Movies
Celebrate the start of fall with a showing of “Practical Magic” in the camp yard around sundown. Fall beer flights will be $2 off, so come dressed as your favorite character and bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Sept. 26: The Big Camp Taco Talent Show
Have a special talent you want to show off? Win up to $200 in cash and prizes during the Camp Taco Talent Show from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Comedy magician Gene Berry will be hosting this fun event as you enjoy dinner and a show.
To keep the celebration going, Camp Taco will be serving up its new passion fruit frozen daiquiri all week long.
