Woodbridge apartment complex planned within walking distance of Metropark station

Woodmont Properties plans a new 300-unit, six-story transit-oriented luxury apartment development in Middlesex County.

The Woodmont Rail at Metropark at 186 Wood Avenue South, Woodbridge, will be within walking distance of the Metropark Train Station.

Groundbreaking was held in August, according to a statement from Woodmont.

Completion for the project, designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, is slated for 2028.

The development will offer a range of living spaces from studios to three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 574 to over 1,400 square feet.

Each unit will feature nine-foot ceilings, Energy Star appliances, quartz countertops, spa-like bathrooms, and private balconies.

The complex includes 23,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center, multi-sport simulator, clubroom, and media room.

For remote workers, the development offers conference rooms and a co-working center.

Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool, fire pits, dining areas, and a rooftop space with barbecue facilities.

The property will also feature a seven-level parking garage with EV charging stations.
