The silver screen is set to come to life this week as Filmland returns to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, and the Arkansas Cinema Society is rolling out the lineup of films and celebs coming to the festival.
Five days of exclusive screenings, happy hours, panel discussions and workshops await film lovers at the Aug. 13-17 event, including several much-talked-about names and works like Paul Walter Hauser, his upcoming film “Americana” and “The Threesome,” which was shot in Little Rock.
After hosting its popular Southern Storytellers Panel at Filmland 2024, Variety will return to host its new Storytellers to Watch List that showcases rising talent across a variety of media and “storytellers who are reshaping how audiences connect with narrative.” The panel will be moderated by Variety editor and film critic Peter Debruge.
