Cool cats, this one’s for you. Jazz in the Park has released the dates and acts for its upcoming fall season in September, and we’re all ears.
Now in its 12th year, Jazz in the Park is a free concert series held every Wednesday for a whole month with shows starting at 6 p.m. This family-friendly event is a local favorite and is welcomed by crowds when it takes over the River Market Pavilions twice a year in the spring and fall.
Some seating will be provided, though attendees are encouraged to break out the picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and with cooler temps on the way, it’s a pretty ideal time to do so.
You can bring your own food and also purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Art Porter Music Education scholarship fund. Just be sure to leave the coolers at home.

- Sept. 3 – Dizzy 7
- Sept. 10 – Blu Jams and Co.
- Sept. 17 – Tonya Leeks
- Sept. 24 – Rodney Block Collective
Jazz in the Park happens rain or shine and will move into Ottenheimer Hall in inclement weather.
