Celebrating community, culture + civic engagement in Alabama
Hosted by Alabama Forward, Power on the Line Weekend is an annual event that celebrates Alabama’s arts and culture scene while inspiring action to strengthen democracy across the state.
“The Power on the Line Weekend is our way of bringing folks together to learn, collaborate, celebrate, and take collective action toward a better Alabama. After recently receiving an affirming decision in the court battle to secure and protect a more fair, representative congressional district map for all Alabamians, we’re going into this year’s event weekend with the goal to gather and galvanize our communities across the state in continuing our fight for a better Alabama.”
Deanna Fowler, Executive Director, Alabama Forward
