Razorbacks and Red Wolves to (Finally) Face Off at War Memorial Stadium

Football fans, get ready to go hog wild.

Little more than a month stands between the metro and “Red in The Rock,” the long-awaited showdown between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Arkansas State Red Wolves at War Memorial Stadium.

Set for Saturday, Sept. 6, the early season event not only marks the rare (and potentially last) Hogs game in Little Rock, but also the first-ever faceoff between the two football teams. The 2021 War Memorial game against UA-Pine Bluff was the Razorbacks’ first in-state matchup in seven decades.

As is tradition, tailgaters will be out in full force on the stadium grounds with general spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m. Reserved spaces are also available in limited quantities.

Citywide festivities typically pop up around game weekends, and though we’ve yet to see any plans announced, we suggest keeping your eyes peeled for Red in The Rock fun.

Stadium gates will open at 2:30 p.m. and kickoff is at 4 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. For more information, click here.
