How to put the Hoka Ora Primo on your feet: The only slip-on style that works every time

A pro tip when shopping for Hoka shoes, and these clogs specifically: Order at least a half size up from your regular shoe size. Hoka shoes tend to fit slightly more snug. In the case of these specific Rita Ora clog-style shoes, they can be hard to get on your feet if you don’t put them on in the intended fashion. In order to slide them on so that they don’t get the backside of the shoe caught under your heel, put your fingers through each of the loops on the front and back of the shoe (as pictured below). Pull the shoe over your foot until your toes are pressing into the very tip of the shoe and until the backside of the shoe slips over your heel. If you try and pull them on with one hand, for example, they are really hard to get over the heel without catching your thumb against your sock and rubbing it uncomfortably.

Are the Hoka Ora Primo shoes ugly, or beautiful? You make the call

What are other folks saying about the Hoka Ora Primo? They have been one of the more polarizing casual sneakers in recent memory. Folks on TikTok, Reddit and other social media platforms either love them, or hate them. That’s because the unique, futuristic look that blends nicely with the extremely plush and cushy soles. The upper is made with a padded nylon midsole that gives it a sort of “sleeping bags on your feet” look that’s topped with a stretchy, worm-like faux lacing system. As far as I can tell, these laces perform no function other than to add to the look. While some folks think these sneakers are “ugly,” others love the shoe’s bold presentation.

Right now, Hoka has rare slashed prices with a big sale on top men’s sneakers and a big sale on top women’s sneakers with big discounts available for as long as they last. Here’s a look at three more of the best-selling and best-rated models from the men’s and women’s sections.
