Provident Bank, a highly regarded multi-billion-dollar financial institution with deep roots in New Jersey, is offering paid summer internships in 2025.
Internships are open to college students pursuing degrees in fields such as accounting, finance, business administration, economics, marketing, computer science, data analytics or information security, according to a statement from Provident Bank.
The 10-week program, starting in June, will place selected interns in various corporate offices across Provident’s branches in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and New York. Interns will gain hands-on experience and interact with senior leaders while learning about the roles and responsibilities within their assigned department.
Departments offering internships include BSA/Fraud, BSA Compliance, Credit Underwriting Support, CRE Lending, C&I Lending, Specialty Lending, Information Security, Project Management Office, IT – Infrastructure Engineering, and Operations/Process Improvement.
To qualify, applicants must be college students working toward a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking and technical skills are required. Interns will be welcomed as contributing team members from day one to help drive the bank’s initiatives.
